Open Task Manager, go to the Details tab, and right-click the Geometry Dash executable, go under Set Priority and set it to High or Realtime (please note that using the Realtime priority may cause issues with other programs while Geometry Dash is open) Collect Low Detail Mode keys or switches in whatever level you're playing, if they are available ![]() Enable Low Detail mode (hidden in settings, go to the Help section) Run Geometry Dash in windowed mode at a lower resolution (or try Fullscreen if you experienced lag in Windowed) New pixel blocks that work like all types of gd blocks (change color etc) -New camera object in 2.2 that allows you to see the edges of the screen within the editor. Delete levels you have saved (ONLY if you have more than 250) -500+ new pixel art objects, can be scaled to any size without being blurry, new tab dedicated to them. Delete levels you made that you don't need (ONLY if you have more than 100) Delete all the custom songs you've downloaded (I know you won't want to, but if you have 500+ songs, it could be slowing GD down upon startup) and redownload them as you need them Turn off Smooth Fix (or turn it on if it's already off) Close any unnecessary background programs ![]()
